Refining a decision and creating dimensions

After deciding on a direction, I made a full-scale model and made sure a bike tire would fit.
Scaling it down and creating a paper jig.
Approximately 150 pieces of paper were cut by hand.
A straight cutting too could be used on some edges.
The pieces were stacked and bound and then I painted white glue on the edges to adhere them together. In the end, everything was painted in a thin coat of gesso.
